GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar)
Ground Penetrating Radar is used to locate steel reinforcement, post tension cables, voids and conduits. Large areas can be achieved in a matter of minutes.
No radiation hazard and only one side accessibility is required.

RTC- Concrete Radiography Testing
X-rays performed on a concrete slab prior to core drilling.
A novice person with no training can interpret these findings. Post tension cables were found directly below the metal stud. These cables are shown next or superimposed to existing reinforcements. Alternate location shows PT cables, reinforcement and conduits in the area.
X-raying the concrete slab saved our customer hundreds of dollars in damages and repairs.
PMI (Positive Material Identification)
Positive Material Identification (PMI) is a nondestructive means of determining the chemical composition of metals. In a global sourcing environment, material can inadvertently be mixed up and cause serious issues while in service. Infrared inspection

Profile Radiography

Profile Radiography is used to detect erosion or corrosion on non-insulated and insulated piping systems. The thickness of the pipe wall can be calculated and any obstruction in the pipe or thinning of the pipe wall can be detected using this method.
Tank Bottom Inspection
Out-of-Service Tank Inspection in accordance with API 653 requires an internal inspection every ten (10) years. A2Z NDT Inspection Services provides clients API 653 tank bottom inspections using certified technicians and advanced inspection equipment.
